The story between Mr Roberts and Helen is beautifully well-written, gripping, captivating, and entertaining. The characters were incredible (except for Lizzi, whom BTW I end up hating like no other), and the relationships well developed. This book is not just about hot sizzling passioante romance, but much more.
Teach Me Dirty was simply intriguing, spellbinding, complex and genius! It’s a story of forbidden love, self-discovery and growth. The only thing that pains me about this story, is the said frienship between Helen and Lizzie, because with friend like her who needs enemies. I don't go into detail, because it won't be fair for the readers, just know if there was abuse in this story, it didn't came from Mr Roberts.
It wouldn't be fair for me to lower my rating for the only reason that I dislike freaking Lizzie. Don't take me wrong, I hate what she went through, but that's not an excuse for her to be doing the same to others, especially to someone she loves. And before someone tried to lecture me or insult me because I disagree, let me tell you that even though I had it worse than Lizzie in real life, it never did cross my mind to put anyone through the same hell I'd experience!! That's of course, my personal opinion based on real events!
However, this is fiction but it felt so realist it made me go mad. But that's the magic of finding authors like Jade West. She is BRILLIANT!! I can't wait to see what she has in store for us.
